Junior Ellen Chapman produced 22 kills, junior Dominique Thompson had 11 and the University of Wisconsin volleyball team won the Pepperdine Classic with a 25-22, 31-29, 22-25, 25-10 victory over Pepperdine on Saturday night in Malibu, Calif.
The Badgers (3-0) warmed up for the nightcap against the Waves (2-1) with a 25-20, 25-13, 25-16 afternoon win over Delaware (0-2).
Thompson set a school record for hitting percentage in a match (.909), succeeding on 10 of 11 attacks.
