Finish the Book, Lea: My Review of A DANCE WITH DRAGONS

Unlike George R.R. Martin, I won't bore you with the details:

I knew it was bad the minute I realized that the Theon, Davos, Bran, and Cersei chapters** were the best ones in the book.

**Note: Anyone who knows me knows that I despised the Theon and Cersei chapters in previous books, and was basically "meh" about the Davos and Bran POVs as well, so this is quite a turn around for me. In ADwD, these previously-annoying/boring POV chapters turned out to be the only ones that had any of the spark, intrigue, and action that I had loved so much in the first three books (i.e.: the only books that matter). So well done, George! You made Dany, Jon Snow, and Tyrion (Tyrion!) totally boring, but your Theon chapters sure were cool! Nice going.

At this point, the only things that will satisfy me are as follows:
Stannis wins the Iron Throne but dies a glorious death-by-dragon while finally ridding the world of all the stupid Targs and their stupid dragons once and for all, thus leaving Shireen Baratheon as Queen of Westeros (suck on it, Val, you greyscale hater!), with Davos as her Lord Protector. Rickon is Lord of Winterfell and marries Wylla Manderly (Manderlys for the Win!), Sansa inherits Casterly Rock after all the Lannisters are dead, and all the Smelly Greyjoys sink into the smelly sea to be with their smelly Drowned God. The End.
