Lions Club helping tornado victims

July 9, 2013

The Granbury Lions Club recently made about $7,000 in donations to help those impacted by the May 15 tornado. In addition to a large donation of food, the Lions Club delivered air conditioners to be used at homes damaged by the tornado. Hundreds of reader glasses were also delivered to St. Frances for distribution to other organizations in need. The Granbury Lions Club also gave Pastor Margret Fields, outreach minister at Acton Methodist, 20 Walmart $100 gift cards to be distributed to families in need after the tornado.
